It all started quite innocently in the basement of a local record shop in 1996. Through many strange and wonderful events over the past 8 years we have grown into what people might call a successful company (that means there are lots of good folks working here and that I actually get a steady paycheck and a decent car to drive). Our company has grown dramatically over these last several years thanks to the enthusiasm that consumers and retailers have shown for our clever designs, quirky sense of humor, and creative packaging.

In addition to selling directly on this site, our products can be found at more than 7,000 finer specialty retailers throughout the United States and abroad. The list includes museums, zoos, aquariums, nature centers, botanical gardens, state and national parks, wild bird shops, garden centers, outdoor shops, campgrounds, resorts, tourist attractions, general gift shops and mail order catalogs just to name a few!
